PRINCESS ANNE

 HER ROLE IN THE BOOK

Princess Anne, as well as her mother, adapted to her new life very fast and she was happy about it.

During her stay at Hell Close, she met Spiggy, a labourer that was also her neighbour, who made her fall in love with him.

A few weeks later, Spiggy went to Anne’s house riding a horse, its name was Gilbert, and it was a gift for Anne. They will build a stable for it at Anne’s garden, and they also will take care of that horse together.

The Queen’s mother's death affected Anne very hard, so she helped Spiggy to make a coffin for the funeral. During the funeral Anne cried a lot.
